Our Mushroom Compost is a recycled by-product of the mushroom growing industry, containing a blend of straw and animal manure. Spent Mushroom Compost will improve soil structure by adding organic matter, increasing available nutrient levels and generally benefitting soil fertility. It is not suitable for lime-hating plants such as camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons and heathers.
